No Sand, Thank You!

Christy & Nigel had visited The Palms before and knew that’s where they wanted to get married. But definitely not on the beach! Nigel is not fond of sand… However, after a beautiful ceremony on the lower pool deck, he was happy to get sand between his toes for some photos, including a wonderful sunset. After cocktails they headed to the spa, a gorgeous setting for their reception – and, as predicted by Christy, they were up and dancing before the end of dinner! A constantly smiling bride and groom and fun-loving guests made this a great wedding – thanks to Paradise Photography for the...

Style Me Pretty and Turks & Caicos

We love it when couples have details they’d like to feature in their wedding, and Brittany and Troy really made the most of the opportunity – even having cookies in honour of Archie, their Golden Retriever who had to stay home and miss out on the big day. Style Me Pretty decided to showcase this wedding and you can see the article and photos here – prepare to be inspired!

Unusual Groom Attire?

Unusual Groom Attire?

Brittany and Troy both work for the Philadelphia Phillies – Troy is actually the mascot, so we were curious to see how he would be dressed for their ceremony! Luckily he chose a more traditional option – it is rather hot for a furry outfit here… After a fun welcome dinner at Da Conch Shack, their wedding at the Gansevoort had so many lovely elements that came together to make the perfect day, and even had Brilliant Photography calling it a wedding that will go down in history – high praise indeed! Take a look here for photos. Congratulations again Brittany and Troy – it was an absolute pleasure to help make your day so special.

From Fridge to Eternity…

I have been looking at Kristen and Mark on my fridge for months, as they sent me a Save the Date magnet when they started their wedding planning! Time flew by and it was lovely to meet them in person for the start of their wedding celebrations. Their guests mingled during a relaxed welcome dinner at Da Conch Shack the night before the wedding, after which they headed back for a bonfire on the beach at the Sands… A liberal application of rum punch at dinner meant that most of the group decided they’d go for a late night swim in the sea! There was a threat of rain on the wedding day, but against all predictions not one drop fell. A spectacular sunset and amazing sky afterwards made for fabulous pictures, as you can see here, thanks to Ileana from...

Sparkles everywhere!

The Palms is a beautiful location for a wedding, and Leah and Frank’s day was made even more special with the addition of fireworks at the next door resort- thanks for sharing! We loved Leah’s shoes, with the colour matching her engagement ring so well. Naturally she wanted to wear them to walk down the aisle. The powdery sand on Grace Bay is more suited to barefoot weddings, so she took advantage of our boardwalk – always good for a stylish entrance to a ceremony. Other little details made this a really fun wedding and Ileana at Attimi Photography was there to capture every moment – here are some of the resulting photos. Check out the little...

Sprinting in a Wedding Gown…

Sprinting in a Wedding Gown…

Wedding dresses are not usually designed for moving at high speed, but Kaylie managed quite a sprint in hers when the rain started to come down as she and Sean finished their sunset photos! Luckily it had stayed away for the ceremony, and whilst it certainly poured down at the start of the reception, guests stayed dry under a tent on the Seven Stars deck. The rain cleared in time for dancing, and celebrations – including fun photos with sparklers – continued into the night… We loved the colours of flowers and bridesmaid dresses Kaylie chose, and the guys’ bowties looked fabulous! See what we mean here, with photos thanks to Andy from Brilliant Photography. Congratulations once again to the happy couple – and a personal thank you...
