Paws and Pools!

Karina and Sachin planned a Turks & Caicos family getaway with a vow renewal thrown in – what a great idea! Everyone stayed at Villa Tamarind, perfectly located on Grace Bay, where the couple had a beautiful ceremony to celebrate 10 years of marriage. The whole family were involved, with the ring bearer taking his important job very seriously… A furry wedding crasher was an interesting bonus – after digging for crabs the interloper decided to be part of the wedding photos! One great thing about staying in a villa is having your very own pool – and these guys certainly made the most of it, with everyone jumping in… Rounding off the day with a gorgeous cake and delicious catered dinner, this really was the perfect celebration for a...

When the Light is Just Right…

We get a lot of questions about the best time for a wedding ceremony here – it’s a balance of avoiding the hottest and brightest time of the day but not making it so late that you miss out on the perfect light for photos. Gorgeous examples of this light can be found here in Elynn & Casey’s wedding – thanks to Romello of Paradise Photography! https://myparadisephoto.com/beautiful-destination-wedding-on-grace-bay-beach/

Rain Can’t Stop the Smiles

Rain Can’t Stop the Smiles

Johanna and Jim didn’t have the best weather for their wedding, with wind, cloudy skies and waves crashing onto Grace Bay, and even a bit of rain at the end of the ceremony, but everyone involved had smiles on their faces (apart from a brief struggle for Johanna’s bouquet, which ended well!). Although the conditions were not typical of usual sunny Turks and Caicos, we think the photos from Frank at Paradise Photography are wonderful – it is nice to see the island in a different light. Take a look for yourself below!

There’s No Place Like (your 2nd) Home…

Angelica has been visiting Turks and Caicos for quite some time so she knew that Craig would love it, and when it came to getting married they decided this was the place… The gorgeous couple and a fun group of family and friends enjoyed a heartfelt ceremony on the Grace Bay beach, with photos captured by Frank at Paradise Photography. After the ceremony they headed off for cocktails, dinner and dancing at Opus restaurant before relocating to another bar for the after party – these guys have stamina! We know we’ll see you again soon, Mr & Mrs!

Flowers and Fairy Lights…

Flowers and Fairy Lights…

Rachel was absolutely clear from the beginning about the essential things at her wedding – flowers and fairy lights. Flowers had been a big part of her life for a long time and meant the world to her, so we had to get those just right – and as for fairy lights, well who doesn’t like twinkly things?! Kevan was happy to let Rachel choose as long as there was delicious food… The wedding was at The Palms and we wanted to keep Rachel away from the reception while everything was being set up so she would get the full impact when it was ready. This proved tricky as Rachel tried to check it out a few times – luckily the ladies getting ready in her room were on hand to rugby tackle her when she tried to escape for a sneaky peek… After a...

No Sand, Thank You!

Christy & Nigel had visited The Palms before and knew that’s where they wanted to get married. But definitely not on the beach! Nigel is not fond of sand… However, after a beautiful ceremony on the lower pool deck, he was happy to get sand between his toes for some photos, including a wonderful sunset. After cocktails they headed to the spa, a gorgeous setting for their reception – and, as predicted by Christy, they were up and dancing before the end of dinner! A constantly smiling bride and groom and fun-loving guests made this a great wedding – thanks to Paradise Photography for the...
